Here is all of the weekly documentation for the week of June 5th.
I started off the week by babysitting my cousins. They needed to be watched for one week and I decided that watching them was a great way to connect with my cousins. When I got home, I mowed the grass and applied for five jobs this week.
Then on Tuesday, I had a second interview with the Bank of Blue Valley. Bank of Blue Valley provides so much value to the local community even though I didn’t end up landing a job at Bank of Blue Valley, I learned a great deal about community banks. I also worked on applying to five jobs this week.
This week I also want to showcase a former co-worker that wrote a book called God The Financial Genius. The book talks about how to tithe and how tithing can help solve problems. The book gives the example of the miracle harvest of Henry Ford and to give when there is abundance and when there is very little. Overall the book was a very good book and gave an interesting perspective on tithing. I think that tithing is important that oftentimes Christan view money as evil while money can help improve the lives of many people through tithing, charity, and community reinvestment.
I also bought new shoes this week to replace the ones I have been wearing for the last 8 months as I felt like I need new shoes. I also have been debating between investing in Abbott Laboratories, Johnson and Johnson, or Emerson Electric Company. Aside from these, I am also open to work and I am willing to work with companies.
